Starting in Sydney we went on a road trip in November and traveled down south to Tasmania. On our way through Victoria we visited the Great Otway National Park and bumped into a forest with hundreds of koalas. I couldn’t stop myself to take far to many photos as it was the first time ever I’ve seen so many of them in one spot.

Driving through Sydney at night while listening to awesome electronic music, I thought that mounting a GoPro camera on the car would be a cool idea. Reviewing the footage afterwards, showed us it definitely was, and makes you feel as if you were there.

I was extremely impressed shooting Anh pole-dancing. Every now and then it seemed to me that gravity disappeared and even watching her was such a pleasure.
Btw, these yummy chocolate coated strawberries should be standard for every photo shoot from now on. Thanks Anh!

V8 Supercars – Bathurst 1000

The biggest Australian race event of the V8 Supercars took place last weekend October 7th to 10th at Bathurst´s famous Mount Panorama circuit. After the Top Ten Shoot Out on Saturday Ford Performance Racing’s Mark Winterbottom has snared pole position for the 1000 km race on Sunday. For Bundaberg Red Racing’s Fabian Coulthard the race already ended in lap one after his Commodore snapped sideways and then tipped into a series of barrel rolls before coming to rest in a sand trap. Team Vodafone with Craig Lowndes and Mark Skaife crossed the finishing line first in lap 161 with a race time of 06:12:51.

The 2010 Red Bull Air Race World Championship touches down in 8 locations on five continents. This weekend it took place in Perth, Australia. After Brazilian Red Bull Air Race rookie Adilson Kindlemann escaped his potentially fatal crash into the Swan River without serious injury, we watched a spectacular race on 17th/18th April. Hannes Arch of Austria won the Red Bull Air Race on Sunday with Matt Hall of Australia getting a career-best second place in front of an enormous crowd of 140,000 people. Championship leader Paul Bonhomme of Great Britain took third place.
Bottom line…….. These guys are f***ing insane!!

Visualizing the project ‘Covered’.
I’ve been asked to work with Sarah, an art student from the University of Sydney. The project outlined that we merge her into different environments without creating division between the motive and locations, both needed to blend in. The project was something different and working with Sarah was a pleasure.
