After an one-day-stop in Germany to pick up some equipment we went to Spain for a shoot last Sunday. Subject was the hotel H10 Playa Esmeralda in Costa Calma, Fuerteventura. The island is known for perfect wind conditions and while we were there the 25. Surf World Cup took place. Having quite a tight schedule we had not much of a chance to watch it, so we just took some photos during their training.
On an Iberia flight heading for Madrid at the moment we´ll stay in Frankfurt tonight and fly out to Greece tomorrow.

www.stefanweber.de
I´ve been ask several times about providing my website just in English, specially the blog. After another chat with my grandmother the other day who hardly understands any English, I decided to put out a German version as well. It will be basically the same than this website so don´t worry if you can read those sentences.

Red Bull Air Race | Perth, Australia
The 2010 Red Bull Air Race World Championship touches down in 8 locations on five continents. This weekend it took place in Perth. After Brazilian Red Bull Air Race rookie Adilson Kindlemann escaped his potentially fatal crash into the Swan River without serious injury, we watched a spectacular race on 17th/18th April. Hannes Arch of Austria won the Red Bull Air Race on Sunday with Matt Hall of Australia getting a career-best second place in front of an enormous crowd of 140,000 people. Championship leader Paul Bonhomme of Great Britain took third place.
Bottom line…….. These guys are f***ing insane!!

Model portfolio development in association with Catherine Ruze Agency | Perth, Australia
In association with Catherine Ruze Agency I worked with Alanna Oversby to help develop her model portfolio. Even though she is quite new in the photography industry, her great talent shone through from the first shot I took. Thanks Alanna, very nice working with you. Also special thanks to Chris Mohr and Lee-Michael Mashanyare for assisting me.

Visualizing the project ‘Covered’
I’ve been asked to work with Sarah Unger, an art student from the University of Sydney. The project outlined that we merge Sarah into different environments without creating division between the motive and locations, both needed to blend in. The project was something different and working with Sarah was a pleasure.

My most recent shooting was with Tara Nicole Funk. We worked together to form a collection of images for her model portfolio. Tara has just moved to Oz from Canada and is looking to immerse herself in the Australian model industry. Here are some of the finishing products.
